Short Bio
I am Mirko Giagnorio, a PhD student in Industrial and Management Engineering at Sapienza University of Rome, departments of Computer, Control and Management Engineering (DIAG) and Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (DIMA).
Over the course of my brief academic career I have developed significant interest towards the transportation sector. My PhD project is focused on renewal fleet campaign of city buses across the world. The research aims to develop an assessment framework supporting decision making process in context of sustainable technologies innovations related to public transport services. During the just ended first doctoral year has been identified two main research topics: alternative bus powertrains and automated driving technologies.
