Short Bio
As director of the Mobility Innovation Centre Delft Sascha is responsible for setting up, facilitating, implementing and disseminating (the results of) pilot projects of new concepts for personal mobility and distribution. Together with the Transport&Planning department at TU Delft, Sascha developed the Outdoor Mobility Dashboard (OMD) to provide real-time, historic and predictive insights into mobility on campus, including locations where Covid-19 critical situations are observed or can be expected, via a combination of state-of-the-art sensors, modelling and AI techniques. The OMD provides a digital infrastructure to design and implement innovative COVID-19 mitigation measures. The dashboard is the first step towards the TU Delft Living Mobility Lab where innovative sustainable mobility solutions for Campus accessibility can be developed. Sascha is an expert in experimental design and travel behaviour.
