Short Bio
Michela Le Pira is a currently a Research fellow/lecturer in Transport Planning at the University of Catania (Italy). She holds a PhD in transport engineering. As a PhD student (2013-2016), her research focused on public participation in transport planning supported by agent-based modelling and multi-criteria decision methods. As a Post-doc researcher at University of Roma Tre, she worked on participatory decision-support methods for sustainable urban freight transport policy-making. As a research fellow at the University of Catania and guest researcher at TU Delft (Netherlands), she is currently investigating new mobility services for both passengers and freight.
